The Arbuda Devi Temple is one of the most common religious destinations in the Mount Abu area. It is located three kilometres north of the main town of Mount Abu. The Arbuda Devi Temple can be reached via 365 steps carved into the mountain.
The temple itself is located in an awkward partition and can be reached by crawling through a small opening in the gap. The Arbuda Devi temple is dedicated to the goddess Durga.It got its name because, according to legend, the "Adhar" of Mataji fell here.
It was also believed that the photo of the goddess hangs in the air here. Being an important destination for travellers, the Arbuda Devi temple is also a common destination for religious undertakings. Most travellers visit the Arbuda Devi temple in the middle of the 9 days of the great Navratri season.
