Jaipur, also called Pink City, is the capital of the royal state of Rajasthan.  Together with Delhi and Agra, Jaipur forms the Golden Triangle and is considered one of the most famous tourist attractions in the country. Jaipur was ruled by the Rajputs for many centuries and developed into a planned city in the 17th century AD. The old city is surrounded by walls and gates decorated with drawings.
