Jaipur is known as the city of pink, taking its name from this monument. Hawa Mahal, a 5-storey building, is the monument by which many tourists recognise Jaipur. This architectural marvel is meticulously carved and depicts the rich life of the Rajput kings. This mahal is located in the heart of Jaipur city. The monument resembles a beehive structure and is built of red and pink sandstones.

This palace got its name Hawa Mahal because there is always a gentle breeze blowing through this monument. So if we translate Hawa as wind, Hawa Mahal means Palace of Winds and is one of the most beautiful places in Jaipur whose architectural beauty you will surely appreciate.
