As the name suggests, this zoo is located in close proximity to Jaipur. It was opened in 1877 and is a paradise for wild animals. This zoo is basically divided into 2 parts. The first part consists of mammals and the second part consists of birds and reptiles. It is said that there are over 50 different species of birds from all over the world in this zoo.

There are about 500 animals in this zoo. This is the best place where you can have fun with your family. The children will surely love this place as there are many different species of animals here and at the same time they can increase their general knowledge about them. The main aim of the zoo is to preserve the wildlife. Here you will find carnivorous animals, from Bengal tigers to Indian civets, and herbivorous animals, from black bucks to hog deer. This is the best place to visit in Jaipur!
