Badal Mahal, which means Badal "cloud" and Mahal "palace", is one of the highlights of the Kumbhalagarh Fort. The place is also popularly known as the Palace of Clouds. The place is located in Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan and consists of two buildings or palaces called Zanana Mahal and Maradana Mahal for women and men respectively.
The palace was built by the then King Rana Fateh Singh in the 19th century. The palace is architecturally brilliantly built and attracts many visitors who are passionate about art and architecture. The palace amazes tourists with unique works of art like the paintings engraved on the walls. The palace exudes a different aura altogether and shines with colourful gestures that give it a vibrant feel. The place is definitely worth a visit to admire this splendour.
