Jal Mahal - architecture of this mahal combines both Mughal and Rajput styles
Jal Mahal
This palace was built by Raja Madho Singh the First and was actually used for hunting. Other literature even points out that this was a symbol of the truce between the Rajput Empire and the Mughal Empire. This is evident from the fact that the architecture of this mahal combines both Mughal and Rajput styles.
This beautiful place was never abandoned even by the successors. It is said that this place was further embellished by King Jai Singh 2, his successor. This place is very close to the city of Jaipur. This place is about 5 km away from the capital city of Jaipur.
