Varapuzha, Kerala

 Varapuzha is a northern suburb of Kochi city. It is a census town in Paravur Taluk, Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. Its strength lies in the fact that the western piece of Varapuzha, called Devaswompadam, is surrounded by an extensive rice-growing area, especially with Pokkali rice cultivation and fish cultivation, privately called 'Kettu'. Punalur, Kerala

 Punalur is a small picturesque town on the outskirts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The town is known for being the pioneer of the mechanical revolution in Kerala with the establishment of Punalur Paper Mills. The river Kallada flows through Punalur. The place takes its name from 'Punal', which means water in Tamil and Malayalam, and 'Ooru', which means 'set'. This gives rise to the meaning of the city of water. The authoritative headquarters of the Western Ghats is located here and is known as Pathanapuram Taluk, which is another passage to the Western Ghats. Pallikkunnu, Kerala

 Pallikkunnu is a small municipality in Kannur, Kerala state, in southern India. It is located in Kannur Municipality, on the national highway between Kannur and Payyannur. It is located three kilometres from the town of Kannur. Pallikunnu houses several educational institutions, including Sreepuram English Medium School, Krishna Menon Memorial Government Women's University and Kerala Vocational Training Centre. Pallikunnu is known for the Mookambika Temple. Another prominent shrine is the Kanathoor Maha Vishnu Temple. It is located near the Kadalayi Sreekrishna Temple in Chirakkal. The Central Gaol, where many pioneers of the Indian Flexibility Struggle and other labour revolts in the neighbourhood were either ruthlessly imprisoned or cruelly executed, is located here. It is also the site of the Doordarshan and Akashvani radio telecommunication station. Pallikunnu was a remarkable place in the midst of the British domain.  

Nadapuram , Kerala

 Nadapuram is a census town and a unique panchayath in the Kozhikode district of Kerala under Nadapuram merged supporters. Nadapuram was adjudged the best panchayat in Kozhikode district for seven years under the initiative of President Soopy Narikkatteri. Topographically, Nadapuram is located about 14 km northeast of Vadakara town and about 21 km southeast of Thalassery town.

Muvattupuzha, Kerala

 Muvattupuzha is a town and municipality in the Ernakulam district of Kerala in India. The town is also known as the starting point of the Muvattupuzha Waterway, which is formed by the confluence of three rivers - namely the Thodupuzhayar Thodupuzha Stream, the Kaliyar Kali Stream and the Kothayar Kothamangalam Stream - forming Muvattupuzhayaar. Muvattupuzha has a rich social custom. Margamkali and hand-to-hand fighting like Parichamuttukali are common among Syrian Christians. They are performed by people independently at the weddings of Syrian Christians. Shadkala Govinda Marar was devised on the banks of the river Muvattupuzha.

Mundakayam, Kerala

 Mundakayam is a town in the Kanjirappally taluk in Kottayam district in Kerala. Mundakayam is the entrance to the hill ranges of southern Kerala and lies on the edge of the Kottayam and Idukki regions. The nearest town, Kanjirappally, is 14 km (8.7 miles) from Mundakayam. Mundakayam has elastic lands and lots of greenery. The river Manimala flows through Mundakayam. Mundakayam is 48 km east of the main railway station of Kottayam and 148 km from the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram. The name Mundakayam is said to derive from the Mundi cranes that used to be seen on the banks of the Manimala River.

Mulavukad, Kerala

 Mulavukad, also known as Bolgatty Island, is one of the islands that form part of the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. The islands of Vypin and Vallarpadam are on the western side and Vaduthala is on the eastern side. Mattanur, Kerala

 Mattanur also spelled Mattannur, is a real city, municipality, and metropolis in the Kannur region, Kerala province, India. The region has the typical character of the midlands of Kerala with hilly terrain mainly used for dryland agriculture. The area of the city stretches between the Irikkur River, a part of the Valapattanam Waterway in the north, and the Anjarakandy Waterway in the south. The town lies in the lower regions of the western shoulders of the Western Ghat, which rises grandly on the eastern side, while the western boundary is the stretch of slowly sloping land leading to the Lakshadweep Ocean. Maradu, Kerala

 Maradu is a region in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. It is located about 7 km (4.3 miles) from the city center. It was formed as Grama Panchayath in May 1953 and was elevated to the level of a district in November 2010. The NH 85, NH 966 B, and NH 66 national highways pass through Maradu and have played a crucial role in improving the area. Maradu is also very much served by pipelines. Another festival is 'Kavadiattam' where people take to the dance floor with kavadi on their heads amidst the last festival day of the Sree Subramanya Swami shrine. Manjeri, Kerala

 Manjeri is a town and municipality in the Malappuram district in Kerala province, India. Manjeri has a population of 97104. Out of which 49% are male and 51% are female. Manjeri has a normal education rate of 95.8%, higher than the national average of 74.04%. The normal slope is 38 meters. Manjeri constituency falls under the Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency.

Mallappally, Kerala

 Mallappally is a town in the state of Kerala in India. It is one of the five taluks that make up the Pathanamthitta region. Mallappally was originally a part of the kingdom of Travancore and was also called "the place where there are the BA graduates" because of the English education by Anglican teachers in the nineteenth century. Mallappally is the first home to a large number of non-indigenous Indians and has one of the lowest population trends and most astonishing education rates in India. The Manimala River flows through the core of the town, dividing it into Mallappally West and Mallappally East. Kuthuparamba,

 Kuthuparamba is a town and a region in the Kannur region of the Indian state of Kerala. The name Kuthuparamba is derived from "kuthu" (society) and "paramba" (ground); exhibitions were held here during the Pazhassi Raja period. At the moment, Kuthuparamba is a small plot of land behind Gokul Street, claimed by the government and occupied by government officials. This name was given to the whole region by the British Raj.

Kothamangalam, Kerala

 Kothamangalam is a beautiful town in the hills of Kerala, India. Kothamangalam is currently one of the most important pioneer towns of Kerala with twelve places of worship, about six ancient shrines, and several sacrosanct mosques. Kattappana, Kerala

 Kattappana is a civil township in the Sahyadri or Western Ghats in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the main urban focal point in the high reaches of the Idukki locality, which is about 2,788.71 - 2,952.76 feet above mean sea level, in the High Ranges, the high altitude area of Kerala recently elevated to the status of a region. Kattappana is a CLASS III urban hotspot. Kasaragod, Kerala

 Kasaragod is a town and the central command of the Kasaragod region in the state of Kerala in India. Located in the rich biodiversity of the Western Ghats, the city is known for the Chandragiri and Bekal forts, the Chandragiri River, the memorable Kolathiri Rajas, the native habitats of Ranipuram and Kottancheri Hills, historical and religious sites such as the Madhur Temple and the Ananthapura Lake Temple, and the Malik Deenar Mosque. Karunagappally, Kerala

Kalamassery, Kerala

 Kalamassery is an important industrial region in the city of Kochi in the province of Kerala, India. Kalabhasery was the place where the elephants for the Thrikkakara temple could rest after their performance at the shrine, located near HMT, Kalamassery. Over time, Kalabhasery evolved into Kalamassery. Kalady, Kerala

  Kalady Kalady is a town in Angamaly east of the Periyar River in the Ernakulam region of Kerala, India, not far from Cochin International Airport. It is known as the place of origin of the eighth-century Indian scholar Adi Shankara and is a well-known destination for Hindu scholars. Kalady gained notable quality only after its rediscovery in the late nineteenth century by the then Shankaracharya of Sringeri and the resulting canonization of an Adi Shankara shrine in 1910. It is one of the oldest regions of Kerala, predating liberation in 1922. In 1914, the Attingal Town Improvement Authority (TIA) was formed before the liberation of the region in 1922. The town is located 25 kilometers ( 16 miles) north of Thiruvananthapuram. Attingal is one of the most important centers of the Thiruvananthapuram region.

Adoor, Kerala

 Adoor, sometimes spelled Adur, is a large town in the Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala. Adoor is one of the two Revenue Divisions of the Pathanamthitta District. Adoor Revenue Division comprises the Kozhencherry Pathanamthitta, Konni, and Adoor Thaluks. Adoor Thaluk comprises the two towns of Adoor and Pandalam. Adoor was already part of the Kollam district. The region lies between the important urban areas of Trivandrum and Kochi in southern Kerala. Adoor is a part of the Pathanamthitta district and is a notable town in central Travancore. Topographically, it lies between Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam. Before the amalgamation of the Pathanamthitta district in 1982, Adoor was part of the Kollam region. The Assembly Constituency of Adoor is a part of the recently formed Pathanamthitta Loksabha Constituency. Later, it was in the Adoor Loksabha Body constituency itself.

Angamaly, Kerala

 Angamaly is a municipality and the northernmost suburb of the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. Located about 30 km north of the city center, the area is the northern gateway to the commercial capital of Kerala and an indispensable part of the Kochi metropolitan region. The town is located at the junction of Main Central Road MC Road and National Highway 47. MC The road, which begins at Thiruvananthapuram, ends at Angamaly at its junction with NH 47. Angamaly is connected all around by all modes of transport. Cochin International Airport is in the Angamaly area. The Angamaly railway station, where all major modes of transport stop, is a major hub for connectivity between the eastern part of the town and the rest of the country. Aroor, Kerala

 Aroor is a town at the northern end of Alappuzha district and at the southern end of the Kochi bypass in the state of Kerala, India. It is a fish-rich, modern area in the south of Kochi. Aroor is two-way access to the city of Kochi. The name "Aroor" is derived from the expression "Arayarude Our", which refers to the place of the Hindu fishing group. Notably, the Vaalarayar or Vaala subclass got the name from their unique fishing gear, the "mythical snake tail" Vaal in Malayalam Net, which they used for their legitimate fishing. Later, the name was abbreviated as "Arayaroor" to become the present name. Aroor gives a history of the former states of Travancore and Cochin.

Beypur, Kerala

 Beypore or Beypur is an ancient port city and a district town in the Kozhikode region of Kerala province, India. The place was formerly known as Vaypura/Vadaparappanad. Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore, named the town "Sultan Pattanam". There is a marina and a coastline. The port of Beypore is one of the most experienced ports in Kerala, generally interchanged with the Middle East. Beypore is known for the construction of wooden boats, called dhows or urus in the Malayalam dialect.

Wandoor, Kerala

 Wandoor is a town in the territory of Kerala, India. Wandoor Valiya Jamaeth Palli, the best-prepared mosque in the area, is known as one of the first mosques where the nakara, a drum, is still used for the invocation, instead of today's loudspeakers. Karunalaya Hospital, founded in 1958 by American evangelist Henry Otten, is located in Wandoor. The Otten English School has more than 700 students undergoing education and now also has degrees equivalent to the school. Another repair center named Noor Institute of Medical Specialties, NIMS with introductory day jobs has been established in Wandoor with the participation of NRIs and some prominent personalities of Wandoor. Kozhenchery, Kerala

 Kozhencherry is a town in the Pathankotitta district in the south Indian state of Kerala in the Central Travancore region of south-central Kerala. According to the 2011 census, there were 3,393 households with a population of 12,021. This is one of the main towns of the Pathhenthitta district. It is located on the banks of the river Pampa.
