Pinarayi, Kerala

 Pinarayi is a town in the Kannur district in the Indian province of Kerala. Pinarayi is 20 kilometers ( 12 miles) from the Kannur district headquarters. The nearest town and railway station are Thalassery, which is 8 km away (5.0 miles).

For administrative reasons, the Panchayat is divided into two towns: Eruvatty and Pinarayi. Pinarayi is a modern town in reverse gear.
