Chengannur, Kerala
Chengannur is a town in the Alappuzha region of Kerala province in southern India. Chengannur is located in the eastern part of Alappuzha on the banks of the river Pamba. The town is 117 km north of the capital Thiruvananthapuram on the MC road. Chengannur is connected to Kollam and Kottayam via NH 220. Chengannur is also a notable destination for Sabarimala travelers, known as the gateway of Sabarimala. The adjoining major towns are Pandalam and Adoor in the south, Mavelikkara in the west, Aranmula, Kozhencherry, and Pathanamthitta in the east, and Tiruvalla in the north.
