Mallappally, Kerala

 Mallappally is a town in the state of Kerala in India. It is one of the five taluks that make up the Pathanamthitta region. Mallappally was originally a part of the kingdom of Travancore and was also called "the place where there are the BA graduates" because of the English education by Anglican teachers in the nineteenth century. Mallappally is the first home to a large number of non-indigenous Indians and has one of the lowest population trends and most astonishing education rates in India.

The Manimala River flows through the core of the town, dividing it into Mallappally West and Mallappally East. Mallappally Taluk borders the Kottayam region at Nedungadappally along a watercourse called Kochuparamb Thodu. From the Pathanamthitta, Kozhencherry, and Ranni sides, one enters the town via the Mallappally Bridge.
